Brief Answer:
It might be RSD

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case. I think you might have developed RSD. This is reflex sympathetic dystrophy. This happens due to over activity of nervous system. It can happen after surgery or trauma to upper limb. Before I advised you any thing I would like to know little detail about this illness.
1. Are you having any stiffness in elbow with swelling?
2. can you describe me nature of the pain?
please send me answers of these questions. I will try my best to help you. thanks

No swelling or stiffness to elbow. Pain concentrated in wrist, usually a dull ache. A nuisance, but tolerable without meds. Pain often extends up outer aspect of forearm, stopping short of elbow; also radiates to back of hand, involving ring and little fingers.

Also want to add to my reply that pain at times is sharp, stabbing and is interfering with my sleep. Symptoms worsen at night.

Brief Answer:
It is RSD

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Pain more in night is mostly nerve related. It can be due to RSD or nerve compression at neck or shoulder. I would recommend you following.
1.Hot water fomentation.
2.Tablet Gabapin NT at night time.
3.EMG/NCV test can be helpful in diagnosis. If there is nerve compression then this test can confirm the diagnosis.
3.Apply volitran ointment twice daily.
4.Wax bath will help you.
I hope these steps will be helpful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
thanks
