What Causes Peeling Of Skin On Corners Of Eye And Itchy Skin On Corners Of Lips?
Question: Its been about two weeks I had this skin condition where the edge of my eye(only one side), the skin started peeling(like flaking). I doesn't hurt but when I'm off from work and clean my face, it feels a little tight and dry. It doesn't work with toner or night cream or mask.
Even on my inner eyelid, it has the same condition. The affected area is not wide.
Until recently, on the corner of my lips, my skin got a little itchy. When I checked, it got reddish and that small affected area has skin flaking off as well. That particular area feels rough and tight. However, the flaking on my eye and corner of lips is not quite the same. The skin flaking off my eye are in bigger pieces whereas the skin on the corner of my lips is more like tiny bits.
I'm slightly allergic to seafood, the night before the skin on the corner of my lips got reddish, I had BBQ squid. Not sure if this could be the cause because usually when I eat it I wouldn't have any problem. Moreover, my skin only got reddish the next day, approximately 16-18hrs later.

I have itching as well as redness on my eye and corner of lips. but the redness and itching on the corner of my lips are more serious. all areas do have slight burning sensation. it's almost white colour of the skin flakes. only inner eyelids affected. level if hydration is about 3-4 on normal days. if I go to gym I take more about 3-4 litres a day. I go gym about 5 days a week.

+Seborrheic dermatitis
+Eczema
The treatment of these conditions include the use of:
+Antibiotic cream and/or oral antibiotics
+Topical steroid cream
+Moisturising creams/lotions
+Oral anti-histamine medications (anti-allergic medication)
Without an elaborate physical examination, it will be difficult to advise the exact medications ma'am. I hope you understand how important that is. +Metronidazole cream or gel to be applied twice daily for the next 14 days
+Tablet terbinafine to be taken orally once a day for 2 weeks: After this you will have to write back to me with images of the region to see if the regimen will have to be extended as this tablet has to be used carefully and the course can go up to 4 weeks as well, so I request you to write back to me with clear attached images after 2 weeks of using this tablet
+Hydrocortisone cream to be applied to the region: To be applied 3 times a day for the next 10 days
