Question: hi , I am into ketodiet( low carb diet ) with 60% fat , 30%protien and 10% carb . the stool color has become pale yellow in color . I am concerned it could be fat mal-absorption.But there was not any foul smell associated with it. can you tell me how to check if it is because of fat mal-absorption. ?

Brief Answer:
A quick, easy way to check out "fat malabsorption"

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

I appreciate the fact that your LCHF diet ratios are quite proper and rather than subject you to tests, which at all will be rather bookish, I strongly feel that you should revert to a "carb" diet for 2 days, if there are any changes in the stool, we then know that you have a "steatorrhea". This can be easily corrected, since your question was as regards how, you could instantly and effectively 'tell' at minimal expense of time money and energy and stress, "figure" out whether the pale stools were due to LCHF diet... This is the coolest and the best solution.

Thanks,
