Brief Answer:
Not likely to be ALS.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The symptoms that you have are not likely to be due to ALS or parkinson's disease. In ALS it is the gradually increasing muscle weakness that is more prominent. The pain is not so severe and a shooting pain radiating to the arms is typical of a nerve root compression or fibromyalgia.
Parkinson's disease is a disorder of the brain that leads to shaking (tremors) and difficulty with walking, movement, and coordination. The slurring of speech that you are having can be related to mild degenerative changes in the brain or early Parkinson's . However a direct clinical examination is the best way to rule out any of these disorders. You can consult a neurologist for the same.
I hope this answers your query.
