Brief Answer:
arthritis or bursitis

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care questions.

You are experiencing pain in you right hip. The two most common causes of hip pain are arthritis of the hip or bursitis. They both can be treated at home with anti-inflammatories like ibuprofen. I usually recommend taking 600mg 4 times a day or 800mg three times a day. It will take a few days to have the pain improve. If the pain does not improve then I recommend you see you medical provider. If this is bursitis your provider can inject the joint with steroids which may help almost immediately.

I hope I answered your question. Please contact HCM again with your health care concerns and questions.
