Question: Hi,
I am a 31 Year old lady. my height is 5.3 weight 66.5 KG. before delivery of my child 2 years back my weight was 55 KG. these days i feel severe pain in my foot. I was given medication for Hypo Thyroid during pregnancy. Please suggest.

Hi,

According your symptoms I could think of possibilities like Ligament strain due to over use or Arthritis.

I would suggest you take Ibuprofen 200 mg twice a day for 5 days.
You can use hot water bags for pain.
Elevate your legs to the level of heart.
Take complete bed rest for 5 days.

If your symptoms do not improve after 5 days I would suggest you to visit primary doctor to evaluate underlying cause.
I would suggest you take an x ray of foot.

According to your height and weight, you are overweight.
Try to reduce your weight by doing exercises after leg pain heals.
Take healthy diet and avoid fast food, junk food, fried items.
