Have any other symptoms of heart problems. Please help.
Brief Answer:
Any heart issue history?
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX
I had read your complains and understand the concerns, you are experiencing pain in the back of breastbone, which is the location of heart and also upper part of food pipe.
Your pain is relived by taking baking soda and water and you had been consuming some drugs before too, which is a heart related drug used to treat fast heart beat.
You are advised to have few tests done to rule out the actual cause of pain and to know exact location, where the pain is coming from.
Important tests are an endoscopy of upper food tract and a echocardiography and xray to see any heart related problems.
Baking soda and water produces basic solution which counteracts on the stomach acidity and relives pain sometimes in GERD patients.
Most propably it is due to GERD as per my knowledge, which can be easily confirmed by having upper stomach endoscopy.
Please do contact me back after having tests by discussing with your treating physician.
Hope my advice helpd you.
