Brief Answer:
Explained
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
If you were my patient I would have advised local NSAID applicants such as voltaren gel, physiotherapy and if necessary NSAIDs with muscle relaxant combination for the pain. Based on the response , if the pain persisted then x ray lumbosacral spine or an MRI may also be advised to rule out any other cause such as a compressional fracture or abnormality related to the vertebral body or spine processes or any condition that may cause nerve impingement. Vitamin B1, 6 and 12 supplementation can also be done especially if they were deficient on routine screening labs.
Thanks
