What Causes Pain Around Belly Button?

Question: Last night had bad pain on left side five inches across belly button and two
Inches down. I also had indigestion. Felt like stabbing and spasms. Today's a bit better
Do you know what it could be?

1.It could be inflammatory / infective condition in the intestine causing pain and discomfort with features of indigestion.

2.If it persists some dicyclomin tablet will be helpful.

3.Dietary changes should be made until it get completely normalised. No spicy,junk or excess fat containing. Take more of salads fruits and juices.

4.Take more of fibrous diet for better bowel moment.

5.If the symptoms persists or repeats i would recommend to get an ultrasound examination of abdomen and pelvis to evaluate the cause.
