Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about what your mom is experiencing. I have read through the information that you have provided and honestly there is no clear diagnosis that I can settle on now. We would need to obtain more information in order to be able to tell what the exact problem is.

Though not sure what the exact problem is, this pain is likely not or heart origin. This is the most feared cause of pains in the arm and chest area. I am of the thinking that this pain originates from the soft tissues and bony structures of the arm that have impacted on venous return. However, a good clinical exam and some testing would be required to pinpoint the problem.

I a happy you have scheduled an appointment already. Fro there, we would have more information to work on and establish a plan to address this problem.

In all, these symptoms probably originate from soft and bony structures of the hand that have impacted on venous return. This would be less likely to have immediate life threatening consequences.

This is no solution to her pain but advice to help relief your anxiety and prepare your mind for what to expect. I hope this helps and I wish her well. I would be pleased addressing any further concerns that you may have at this time.
