Detailed Answer:
It can be felt as a reaction to physical or emotional stress due to tachycardia. this i normal and this is most common cause. Also it can be sign of hypertension so check you BP.
Other less common causes but more serious are hear arrithmias or abdominal aneurisms but these would have some other symptoms as well such as pain in chest or abdomen, dizziness and shortness of breath. if you have these symptoms you should see cardiologist. By then, try to relax, measure your BP few times per day and eat easier food since some esophageal and stomach issues may mimick heart disorders. WIsh you good health. Regards,feel free to ask.
