Brief Answer:
Considerations

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for submitting your question. The question is a very good one and I will hopefully be able to provide some insight into what these laboratory values mean. an increase in lymphocytes is a very nonspecific laboratory finding. Your lymphocyte count is only very mildly above the upper limit of normal. This number alone does not provide much specific information regarding the nature of the lymphocytes. The most reasonable course of action would be to have a repeat CBC in six months or so to evaluate for persistence. Of course, if you develop any concerning symptoms in the meantime, please see your physician immediately.

I don't think your laboratory test indicates that you have any type of worrisome disorder at this time. I think however it is extremely important that you follow up with your doctor for repeat laboratory studies as mentioned above. Thank you again for sending your question. Please let us know if you have any additional specific concerns.

Sincerely,

Dr. Galamaga
