What Causes Muscle Weakness And Pain In The Thighs And Calves?
Question: My husband has extreme muscle weakness and pain in his thighs and calves. He had chemotherapy for Large B Cell Lymphoma and intrathecal chemo injections at the end of treatment. His docs suggest chemical neuropathy, but it is getting progressively worse. Chemo ended 9/2014. Any ideas? Thank you.

Dear Dr. Mascarenhas,
Thank you so much for the information you provided. My husband did have a Nerve Conduction study and the result was "inconclusive" so his doctor suggested nothing further. We are going back to him with your notes to see if he will offer additional help, and if not, will keep going until we find someone who will work with my husband. You have given us hope that he may not have to live with this leg pain forever. Once again, we thank you!
