Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for asking on HCM!

I carefully passed through your question and would explain that your symptoms could be related to different causes:

a- an electrolyte imbalance
b- any possible drug adverse effects.
c- vitamin D insufficiency.
d- a muscular disorder

For this reason, I recommend consulting with your attending physician and performing some tests:

- blood electrolytes
- vitamin D plasma levels
- an electromyography and muscular enzymes

I would also like to know your current medication and possible changes to your therapy that may have led to this symptomatology (statins are known to cause muscular cramps as adverse effects, while betablockers can cause chronic fatigue and decreased physical performance).

You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.

Hope to have been helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
