What Causes Mild Throat Pain Post Unprotected Oral Sex?

My marriage is fixed and I have only 30 days left for marriage. I was really tensed and want to try sex before marriage for experience.
I decided to approach lady in a spa. I had 2 sex encounters -with 2 different ladies- in spa in a 4 star hotel this week , I had used condoms for sex. but during foreplay I had unprotected oral sex with her(I touched kissed licked her genitals).I am experiencing a mild throat pain , irritation in lips. Its the 3rd day after encounter.
Do I need to do any STI tests?
I am worried as my marriage is on XXXXXXX last week. should I test after 4 weeks i.e 24th Jun-17?? is it enough?? I cannot postpone marriage

I am dr. kakkar (dermatologist and venereologist). I have gone through your query and I have noted your concern.
Though protected vaginal sex protects against many STDs but still there is a risk of transmission of genital herpes simplex infection and genital HPV infection (warts) and a low risk of transmission of syphilis. A condom provides adequate protection against HIV. As far as oral sex is concerned there is a genuine risk of transmission of herpes simplex virus to oral mucosa and a lesser risk of transmission of other STDs like syphilis, throat gonorrhea and chlamydia. HIV has a negligible risk of transmission through oral sex.
In my view you must screen for STDs, mainly for herpes simplex infection (HSV ELISA type 1 and type 2, IgG and IgM), syphilis infection (VDRL) as well as HIV. I recommend screening at 3-4 weeks from this sexual encounter and then again at 12 weeks from the sexual encounter.
In the mean time if you notice any oral or genital ulcers, genital warts/ growths etc you must present your self for examination.
