Brief Answer:
ANGIO has to be done ASAP..

Detailed Answer:
Hello xxxxxxxx, Welcome back to HCM,
I've gone through your query and understand your concern for your aunt,

The lower range pulse is mainly due to consequence of the heart attack and is considered one of the severity parameter for it..

Blood sugar's definitely quite high which can be cumulative effect of the post heart attack stress, any element of dehydration, any missed anti-diabetics(which she was on) and several others.. I believe they are doing Urine for Ketone analysis along with blood gas study..

Please remember that it's the benefits of the angiography which outweighs the risk..so it has to be done without any further delay..

She has to be put on I.V Insulin administration(preferably continuous infusion) prior to the procedure along with continuous monitoring of the blood sugar and also after the procedure till sugar normalizes to a certain range..

Please don't hesitate anymore and go ahead with it, let me know how it goes later on..

Let me know if there's any further query, I'll be glad to clarify..

Let me know how she stays in the due course..

Best Wishes

Take Care
Kind Regards
