What Causes Low Back Pain,bloating And Sweats After Taking Modafinil?

Question: hi. I stopped taking my modafinil 400 mg last week. starting taking it Friday April 11 again. took one or two extra pills sat and sun. Started having severe low back pain, bloated stomach, sweats, constipation. is it due to the increase in Provigil? If I cut back to 2 to 400 mg per day, will the back pain go away? I have never had any pain issues. My doctor and the ER said it is constipation causing the pain. could the increase in modafinil be the culprit or part of the problem of severe low back pain? been on 200 mg modafinil for years without any side effects..Thank you

Your symptoms might indicate : - possible viral infection - side effects of Provigil I'd like to know if you have further cold symptoms like fever or others? I advise to take: - pain killers (acetaminophen) - probiotics - antacids - lots of water to improve the symptoms. Being more physically involved is also highly recommended.
