Brief Answer:
Possibility of muscular spasm

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Pain over chest on left side may be muscular, cardiac or from underlying lung.
First possibility is muscular due to exertion and muscle pull while running or exercising.
Second possibility of cardiac pain is usually over left middle region with palpitation, breathlessness. sweating. In your case it is less likely.
Third possibility of lung involvement due to rupture of Emphysematous bullae leading to pneumothorax found in young due to exertion and with breathlessness.
In your case it is less likely as other features are not present.
i will suggest you to take rest, apply some local painkiller ointment or take oral pain killer tablets.
Consult a doctor if you suffer any breathlessness, palpitation, sweating.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
