Question: abdominal pain llq and left upper thigh pain for 4 days. taking cromolyn 200mg oral 4 times a day, protonix, singulair, now doxycycline from derm for skin problem but it doesn't behave like acne -I think it is a high , itching comes and goes. just not feeling well. hate to go to doctor as I have so many now for allergic disease, work up mastocytosis but tryptaseneg I meant hive

Brief Answer: You can take tablet Dicyclomine 20 mg SOS. Detailed Answer: Hello XXXX Thanks for writing to HCM You need proper clinical examination and investigations. Left lower quadrant pain and left upper thigh pain may be due to many reasons like visceral causes,musculoskeletal causes etc. Ultrasound of abdomen should be done after clinical assessment.You shouldn't avoid clinical examination. You need few other investigations like routine hemogram,RBS,RFT,urine RE/ME.Further investigations can be done if needed. At present you can take antispasmodic like tablet Dicyclomine 20 mg SOS. Proper treatment depend upon clinical findings and investigation reports. You are getting right treatment for mastocytosis,you should continue mentioned medicines. Get well soon.
