Brief Answer:
Probably partial seizures.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Most probable cause of limb twitching is partial seizure, other causes related to, are neuromuscular problems that include a number of neuromuscular diseases and some drugs side effects.

Other information about your symptoms, duration, how they started, any drug history and medical history is needed in order to better understand your concern.

However you need neurologist evaluation to rule out possibilities.
If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Brief Answer:
Ambien is not causing the involuntary jerk.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for asking again.

Limb involuntary jerks is not a side effect of Zolpidem. So if you are not using other drugs, then your concern is not a side effect. Again there is need for a careful evaluation of its cause.

Hope this helps. If you have further questions feel free to ask.
