Question: right lower quadrant abdominal intermittent sharp like a quick pinch. More diffuse discomfort in my lower right abdomen after I eat. I have been having stools that switch from loose to soft and are much smaller in diameter. Lots of flatus in the evening also.

Brief Answer:
Colonoscopy has to be done.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Such symptoms are characteristic for large intestines issues. As you have smaller stools, most likely there is a narrowing somewhere in the large intestine. It can be caused by a tumor (benign or malignant). Change in stool pattern, bloating and abdominal pain are also very common symptoms of large intestine issue.

It is strongly recommended for you to have colonoscopy done as soon as possible.
Please consult your doctor.

Hope this helps. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
