Brief Answer:
Connective tissue diseases can cause similar symptoms.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Connective tissue diseases (CTD) can cause similar symptoms and PFT abnormality.
But what was the parameter on PFT which is 67%?
Is it FEV1 or FVC or the ratio?
Have you checked for CTD s?

Brief Answer:
CTDs are auto immune disease.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
CTD s are auto immune diseases.
In this, body produces auto antibodies against body's own cells.
These diseases affect skin, vessels, kidneys, lungs, heart etc.
In lungs, they tend to develop Restrictive and obstructive Pulmonary disease.
So abnormal PFT can be seen.
Please let me know
1. What was the value of FEV1?
2. What was the value of FVC?
