Detailed Answer:
Hello. Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com.
I have read your query. I understand your concern.
As per details, it seems that you are suffering from a condition called urticaria. It is characterised by red colored itchy transient eruptions over body. It can be caused by allergy to recent infection, any food, seasonal change, drugs, pollen grains etc. If duration of the disease is less than 6weeks, it is known as acute urticaria. Recent infection and drugs are most common causes for acute urticaria. Pantoprazole is unlikely to cause urticaria. Drugs like antibiotics and painkillers are often the offending agents.
I will advise you to get your thyroid profile ,Absolute Eosinophil count, IgE levels done.
In such cases, I prefer to advise a combination of levocetrizine and montelukast to my patients.
Visit your doctor so that he can examine you and give you prescription. You can share my opinion with him. I hope it helps. Take care.
Note: Hope the answers resolves your concerns, however for further guidance of skin related queries consult our Dermatologist.Click here to book a consultation
