Brief Answer:
This is suggestive of a urinary tract infection!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. They are typical of a urinary tract infection. You will need to get laboratory test done and also get an antibiotic to treat this condition. Unfortunately, antibiotics cannot be dispensed online and you must make a visit to your doctor. For now, I encourage you to drink much water as this helps with cleansing the system through increased urine volume flow!

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Thank you for your reply, Dr. It is hard to tell because I have some bleeding from a hemorroid or this could be vaginal, but I see a small, very light bloodstain in my undergarment. Can this be another symptom of the urinary tract infection? I do not think I have ever experienced a UTI in the past.

Brief Answer:
Frequent, painful urination in small quantities is very suggestive of UTI!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Your symptoms are very typical and suggestive of a UTI. Until proven otherwise, that’s the most likely explanation for your symptoms. I will like to see this investigated and ruled out rather than not because of the nature of your symptoms. Blood in underwear is not typical of UTI and may be more related to the hemorrhoids if you do have them.

I wish you eel and keep e posted on this.

Thank you for your reply, Dr. I have never had this before. I just came from my doctor's office. They took a urine sample. Are there specific causes of UTI's? I am not sexually active, but I am type 2. I also wear a pad as protection for bladder leakage.

Brief Answer:
The most common cause is a germ called E. coli!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Almost every woman gets at least one episode of UTI in her lifetime. You must have been very fortunate not to have ever experienced this. With you have a leaky bladder, this makes the possibility of a UTI more likely. What is the cause of your leaky bladder?

Let’s see what the results of the urine sample show us. Did the doctor give you any drugs?

Until next, best wishes in all your undertakings!
