Posted on Wed, 11 Jun 2014
Question: When I inhale all the way, I feel what I assume is my expanded lung in the upper left part of my back. I never felt this before, and it is only on the one side. What do you think?

Brief Answer:
Examine.Rule out collection of air

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear. Thanks for giving me an opportunity to address your query.

I were to suspect collection of air pockets in the tissue due to the seepage of air from the lung(subcutaneous emphysema).I were to examine, take a chest X-ray and rule out same. This is harmless and self limiting.Do not panic.

Hope this answers your query.
