I would explain as follows:

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I understand your concern, and would exlain that your symptoms could be related to a thyroid dysfunction.

Other possible causes to consider would be anxiety and menopause symptoms.

Do you have a regular period cycle?

Coming to this point, I would recommend consulting with your doctor for a physical exam and some tests:

- complete blood count for anemia
- thyroid hormone levels
- sex hormone levels.

An abdominal ultrasound would be necessary to examine your ovaries, especially if you are having an irregular period cycle.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.

Hope to have been helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
