What Causes Dizziness, Anxiety And Fatigue?

default
Posted on Mon, 8 Sep 2014
Question: I am very worried about my husband. He has a lot of anxiety and fatigue. Last night after dinner, he became so dizzy and so tired that I had trouble getting him upstairs to bed. I tried asking him what was going on, but he was almost incoherent. His posture was very droopy and he was very unsteady on his feet. He swears that he only had a small amount of alcohol (wine) before dinner, and I tend to believe him. He has never yet lied to me about his alcohol use, but I am getting worried about that too.

Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry about that

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for using healthcare magic. I, Dr Abhishek Kapoor, would help you in this query.

I think, it is due to alcohol rather than testosterone. In old age, sometime even small dose of alcohol could lead to such symptoms. There is nothing to worry about these symptoms. These are temporary symptoms. Better to give him any benzodiazepine on sos basis. That would help to resolve the symptoms.

In case, you have more query, you can ask.
