I would surely like to be of best possible help to answer your query, however,I need to know some extra details for the same-
1)In which part of the body is he having tingling?
2)Was he normal for past 4.5 months(as you said that he is having dizziness for just one week now)?
3)Is dizziness persistent throughout the day or is it episodic?

Further,I would appreciate if you can upload your CT scan report here,so that I can have a look upon the cerebellar stroke size and site,as you mentioned.

Brief Answer:
Autonomic function tests.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being in follow-up and providing further details.

Episodic dizziness which you are having is probably due to autonomic dysfunction as you mentioned that it is in the standing position mostly.

I suggest you to undergo 'Autonomic function testing'.Old basilar artery stroke is unlikely to cause these symptoms at present. For tingling symptoms, low dose amitriptyline can be taken and observed for improvement.PLEASE TAKE MEDICINES UNDER A PHYSICIAN'S GUIDANCE ONLY.

Hope that helps. If you have any further questions,I shall be glad to have you in follow-up.
