What Causes Discomfort On The Right Side Of Body Before Ejaculation?
Question: I experience a discomfort on the right side of my body right as I'm about to ejaculate during sex. It's been a problem for a couple months or a little longer. I have a hard time describing it because it's never been experienced before. I know it only occurs when I get that "building up" feeling just as I'm about to ejaculate and it occurs on the right side sort of between the side of the abdomen and the pelvis. It's not a keeling over kinda discomfort but does border on painful.

• Inflammation of the testicles, prostate or urethra
• Sexually-transmitted infections
• Blockages in the ejaculatory duct
• Pelvic radiation
• Prostate cancer
• Psychological issues
Please get complete urine examination for pus cells, Blood sugar fasting, Ultrasound to see prostate size and residual urine, PSA, If these are normal, there could be psychogenic conflicts . This has to be tackled by proper history taking and counselling

I had residual âsharp throbbing pain" after sex on my right side deep inside between the rib cage and my hip. Remember, its the right side. Also, I experienced the pain two months prior to this relationship & haven't had sexual intercourse with anyone for at least 8 months prior to experiencing these pains.

Some of these causes mentioned above are very chronic and may remain silent for some time before producing symptoms . Prostate infection is one such case. Pain on right side is called referred pain. The origin may be in prostate but pain may be felt right side because of the nerve dermatome involved. Your later posting makes it more likely due to prostate infection but some other causes like penile nerve damage due to diabetes or even a few antidepressants like SSRI may cause such condition
