Brief Answer:
Most likely shingles

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I am Dr Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, a dermatologist.
According to your complaints it seems to be shingles.
Have you developed a rash consisting of fluid filled blisters in the affected painful areas as shingles is usually associated with appearance of blisters.
If associated with rash then it is most likely shingles.
