What Causes Clumps Of Tissue In Postpartum Bleeding?
Question: is it bad i passed this clot at 4 weeks post partum?

As I stated in my previous answer to your other query, it is normal for women to experience bleeding like a heavy menstrual period on and off until even 6 weeks after a vaginal delivery and 8 weeks from a c-section.
It is not unusual to see clots or clumps of tissue in the postpartum blood flow. Clots greater than the size of a fist may indicate excessive bleeding, but anything smaller, especially if it is a solitary clot, does not reflect heavy enough vaginal bleeding to be concerning.
If at any point the bleeding, whether it clots or not, soaks more than one pad per hour for more than two hours it would be prudent to call or see your delivering physician to make sure your uterus is recovering normally.
If this is your first baby, it is normal to be anxious about the amount of bleeding you will see as it is normal to have more bleeding than any menstrual period you have experienced before. I want to reassure you that the image you provided does not look like anything that could be large enough to indicate a problem.
