Brief Answer:
MRI of Thoraco-lumbar area.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
To recapitulate: Male/57 - not visited Doctor - has a burning sensation in the lower right abdomen - especially when turning his body/twisting his torso like turning to back up the car - checked online for symptoms of appendicitis.

With the history you have provided, this can be taken as a classical case of some neurological pain by its character of burning sensation that comes on by turning torso.

I would advise his the following:
MRI of the thoraco-lumbar spine.
Clinical evaluation and examination by your Doctor in this regards and reference for a Neurologist, get investigated to get a correct diagnosis and get a proper plan of management.

I hope this answer helps you to get a proper diagnosis and treatment, please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
