Brief Answer:
Need some further details regarding..

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX, welcome to HCM,

I've gone through your query and understand your concern,

Now burning sensation during micturition (urination), can be due to several reasons starting from dehydration, changes in diet habits, any urinary tract infections , kidney stones and several others..

So please let me know :

Since when are you having this ?

Is there anything which relieves / worsens it ?

Any other problem ?

Any binge drinking lately (if you do at all) ?

Any other past medical history ?

Any particular diet plans / medications are you taking for any reasons ?

Please get back to me with the details so that I can guide you in a better way..

In the meanwhile stay hydrated..drink a lot of water, 3-4 ltr per day if your kidney function's fine (if there's any part of dehydration, it'll get cleared off)..

Awaiting for your reply..

Kind Regards

How long are you noticing those whitish discharges ? Any contact with any foreign bodies ?

Please take as long as you want, to answer thoroughly .. awaiting your response ..

Good morning Dr Banerjee...my name is XXXXXXX

I began having these symptoms late last week and have never had them before in my life

There has been nothing that has relieved or makes it worse

There is a white discharge for about one week and, yes, the tip of my penis is red, a small area, but sensitive. I do not drink, have no past medical issues or change in diet. I have recently began seeing a woman and we have had intercourse for around one month. She said it has been a year for her since her last sexual activity...the same for me. Otherwise I was dating
A woman for 3.5 years, and was monogamous with her. This condition happened when I started seeing this new lady. I assume perhaps it's related. She does seem honest when she tells me about her past. I want to notify her of my condition so that I can protect her as well if it is an STD

Brief Answer:
you need to get investigated thoroughly ..

Detailed Answer:
Good Afternoon XXXXXXX Welcome back..

Thanks for all the details.. now from your description it's quite apparent that there can be an element of STD involved in this..

At this point I'd advice a complete STD Panel Check-up for you as well as your partner.. Please abstain from any sexual activity(with either of them) until fully cleared..

You also need to get Urine analysis and Culture sensitivity in addition to rule out any indwelling infection.. also maintain a good hydration status as it's really important at this time to drink 3-4 Ltr water per day..

Management depends on findings..In the meanwhile getting yourself checked out by Urologist or a Venereal disease specialist would be appropriate as it seems going on for quite few days as you've mentioned..

Yes , you're absolutely right . Nothing beats honesty, so go ahead and tell her in details, I'm sure she'll forgive..

Please keep me posted about you're well being in the due course..

Best Wishes
Kind Regards
