Question: Hi I was wondering I had laser hair removal on my Brazilian for the first time and a week later my partner and I had intercouse the next day all the area around the lips is extremely sensitive to touch and it burns when I urinate. It is red and swollen as well. He shaves his pubic region. Is it possible the laser treatment has made my skin more sensitive and I have a friction reaction?

Brief Answer:
Symtoms related to Laser side effects.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,Mam.

I understand your concern.

This clearly seems to be the side effect of the Dermatological Laser therapy.

Red ,swollen skin is a common manifestation.

Friction from sexual activity only exacerbates the current symptoms but will not directly contribute the hypersensitivity of the vulval skin.

This will subside in 1 week time completely.

Drugs like Voveron 100 mg taken daily for 3-5days will help to reduce the inflammation.

Cool compress and moisturizers will also help.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.
