Brief Answer:
Due to nerve and tissue stretching.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The burning pain that you are feeling is due to the healing of internal wounds and nerves. Cautery also causes fibrosis and stretching of the internal tissues causing such pain. Just relax. It is nothing worrisome. This pain will gradually subside with rest in next few weeks.
