Brief Answer:
Appears to be simple proliferation of hair root.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting your query to the forum.

I can understand your concern for the bumps on the scrotal region.

After analyzing the area with diligence I can make out that the bumps are simple proliferation of the hair roots and attached oil glands.

TO confirm the same do let me know:

- Since exactly how many days you have this problem.

- Do you have any pain, discomfort or burning sensation over the same.

Any history of unprotected sex in recent past and any history of scratching the area.

Hope to hear soon from your side.

With regards,

I noticed this problem within the last week. Maybe 3-5 days. I do not have any pain discomfort or burning sensation over or around that area. I received oral sex about 2 months ago and that is the only unsafe sex I can think of. The area seems to be a bit more dry than the rest of the scrotal region along with the bumps. I only noticed it when trimming the area. What can I do for this?

Brief Answer:
Simple over proliferation of the hair root

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome again and thanks for posting your details.

I can understand your concern for the bump over scrotum. It is sometimes really distressing for anyone to have anything unusual over genital region.

Now after reading your brief query I can make out the possibility of simple over proliferation of the hair root with oil gland at the genital area. As we know that our genital area have lot of coarse hair and this area is always been closed, so there is always a chance of mild over proliferation of hair root at this area.

Additionally the scrotal skin is one of the thinnest skin in the body so the area appears more bumpy.

So just relax about any possibility of sexually transmitted infections and do give me a follow up if you feel the area is increasing.

Follow safer sex practice and always use condoms for the best protection.

Keep yourself calm and stay healthy.
