Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

Your symptoms seem to be related to anxiety.

Anyway, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician and performing some tests to exclude other possible causes that may mimic this clinical scenario:

- a chest X ray
- a resting ECG
- respiratory function tests
- some blood lab tests ( complete blood count for anemia, thyroid hormone levels, fasting glucose, blood electrolytes)
- a brain MRI may be needed to exclude possible intracranial causes of limb numbness.

If all the above tests result normal, you should consider anxiety as the main cause of your symptomatology.

Hope to have been helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
