Question: My babies are six month old, they were preemies born at 30 weeks and are doing really well....I keep thinking that I see a blue shadow around their mouths after they eat...They were in NICU for several months and came home on Apnea monitors and have been cleared by pulmonologist..is there a reason to bring this up at their six month check or is it normal?

Brief Answer:
Twins

Detailed Answer:
Hello. I just read through your question.
As long as the babies are otherwise ok, there is no need to be concerned over what you see with their lips. I feel its always a good idea to mention everything to your doctor at the regularly scheduled visits. So I would consider mentioning it. Until then, however, there is truly no need an e concern.
