What Causes Blood-tinged Sputum After Gallbladder Removal?

Question: Had gallbladder removal yesterday evening and today phlegm loose with dry blood coming out..is that normal? Could it have been the tubing?

Hello, Thank you for posting your question on Health Care Magic.
The symptoms you have described surely indicate trauma due to intubation.
Usually while intubation small amount of tissue trauma does occur.
It will stop in a days time ,please take steam inhalation thrice a day for decreasing the cough.
