Question:

can you forward this to Dr. xxxxxx XXXXXXX Hello sir, you have been helping me with my bad breath. I notice that when I have a bow movement in the morning that some of the waste come out and I still feel some is left, so I drink some water and the rest comes out. I could be wrong, I believe that the left over waste is the cause of my bad breath. please tell me what you think. I was wondering if it could be dysentery or something like that.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome back and thank you for your kind comments.
When you drink water there is a reflex action called gastro-colic reflex which helps to evacuate the bowels. Some people drink up to 4 glasses of warm water to have a good motion. This is helpful in those that have an Irritable Bowel Syndrome ( IBS). It is unlikely to be a sign of dysentery.

The gas forming bacteria in the large intestine produces gases like hydrogen and methane which are colorless and odour less. In some people there can be production of Hydrogen Sulphide by another set of bacteria. This gives a bad odor like that of rotten eggs and this can appear in the breath also.
