Thanks for posting the query on HCM. After going through your query, I would like to comment the following:

1.     You seem to be asking about eosinophils. Do you have increased eosinophil count?
What all symptoms you have?

2. These are cells clinically related to allergy most of the times.

2. They are commonly increased in conditions like allergy, asthma, tropical pulmonary eosinophilia, filariasis , parasitic infections, etc.

3. A count of more than 6% on peripheral smear is significant.

4. The treatment consists of treating the underlying cause.

Really appreciate your prompt response. Sorry for not being clear with my answer.
My "Absolute Eosinophil Count" is 2550 appears to be alarmingly high . to be sure, i got this test done twice in the same week .
I do not have any specific symptoms except some abdominal cramps/amebiasis like symptoms for couple of days. Could you please review the attached reports(2 tests)and suggest?

Hi,
Thanks for the follow up. After going through the followup query, I would like to comment the following:

1. Your absolute eosinophil count is very high. Since you haven't mentioned, it is being presumed that you do not have any known allergies.
2. Considering your symptoms there are chances of parasitic infection.
3. Investigations required: An ultrasound of abdomen, Stool examination for ova cyst will help.
4. If there are no any other symptoms than the one's mentioned then you need to get yourself evaluated by a physician / gastroenterologist at the earliest.
