What Causes A Swelling In The Lower Abdominal Area?
Question: My husband has a swelling between his stomach area and pelvis area. It is painful when it happens. The area swells and then it goes away.

I have gone through the details you have provided.Uor husband seems to have a hernia in his anterior abdominal wall. this means that there is a weakness in the anterior abdominal wall through which contents of the abdomen can protrude out.
