What Causes A Popping Sensation In The Groin While Coughing?
Brief Answer:
Check for impulse on coughing. And let me know your findings.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The pain in the left lower abdomen/groin that started with hard coughing and now hurts every time you cough can be due to the following reasons:
Developing a left inguinal hernia.
Muscle strain in this area secondary to hard coughing.
Please check the following and let me know your findings:
Put a flat of palm on the affected area - cough hard and feel if there is a bulge during hard coughing.
If this is present then this is the development of an inguinal hernia. There can be a local tenderness in both cases.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
