Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,

Thanks for consulting Healthcare magic .
This is Dr. Priyanka Tiwari answering your query .

I have read your query and gone through reports (image) you have attached of ulcer with black spot below it . As far as I have obsereved I think the black spot is likely to be friction induced mucosal injury . It could be due to chronic irritation like biting , frictional keratosis (sharp cusps of posterior teeth) . Dont be afraid of oral cancer . You need not to worry until the black spot is growing in size , changing it shape or begins to hurt.

I will suggest you to consult oral surgeon for clinical examination and remove the cause like rounding of sharp cusps of teeth if present . In meantime you can apply ointment like Triamcinolone acetonide (0.1% ) 4 to 5 times daily for one week . Take medicine vitamin B supplements by consulting with local doctor . Avoid hot and spicy food . Dont take stress. Take balanced diet.

Hope I have answered your query .
If you have further query I will be happy to help.

Brief Answer:
frictional keratosis (cheek biting) , Hematoma , treatment.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,

Welcome again .

I have read your query and understand your concern . As your dentist has told it is hematoma due to bitting see what happened is when your posterior teeth (usualy wisdom tooth) is buccaly placed or due to sharp cusps of posterior teeth results in cheek biting . Continous trauma (biting) to buccal mucosa causes blood accumulation beneath the mucous membrane or inflamation of minor salivary gland that appears as black dot in cheek . Dont be worried so much I will suggest you to do warm saline rinses 2 to 3 times a day . Apply ointment triamcinolone acetonide . Do these measures and consult oral surgeon to remove the cause of cheek biting rounding of sharp cusps or extraction of bucaly placed wisdom tooth if present .

Hope I have answered your query .
If you have further query I will be happy to help.
