Brief Answer: SMALL AMOUNT OF FREE FLUID NOT SIGNIFICANT. Detailed Answer: Hello Thanks for writing to us with your health concern. Small amount of free fluid in the pelvis is of not much significance. It is commonly seen during certain phases of the menstrual cycle. If she is not having pain, fever, vomiting etc then appendicitis can be ruled out which is the important organ this side. There is no ovarian mass described by you also. Can you please upload the CT scan report so that I can also have an opinion based on that ? As of now, based on the CT scan report, there is nothing to worry. The cramping is common during periods. All the best Please feel free to discuss further.
