What Can I Do About PCOS And Irregular Periods While On Metformin For The Same?
Question: Hi
I have problem of pcos.My periods are irregular. I was taking krimson 35 for 6-9 months. Period was regular during medicine but when I stop it was irregular.then I started taking metformin for 1.5 months. Still I didn't get period.what should I do now? Should I start to take both medicine?. I am regularly doing excersice for 30-45 minutes. What should I do now?I am taking homeopathic medicine as well.when I did sonography , dr said that small foils are there which is less than 10mm in every.

PCOS is a chronic condition due to hormonal disturbance.
The hormonal disturbance leads to irregular periods and anovulation leading to formation of small follicles in the ovaries.
Metformin improves the underlying hormonal disturbance and hence helps in improving the situation.
I will suggest you to exercise regularly and use metformin for 4-6 months regularly and then see whether your cycles become normal or not.
