Brief Answer:
Read below

Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

The fact that you were given Ropinirole doesn't necessarily mean that you have Parkinson's. It is one of the most common uses but may be used for other indications like restless legs syndrome.

Also even if the doctor has given it for Parkinson's, diagnosis of Parkinson's is not always straightforward, there are times when over the course of time depending on symptom evolution and response to medication. Diagnosis of Parkinson's is a clinical diagnosis, there are no tests, it is based on symptoms and signs found on physical exam. Some of the symptoms you mentioned may be a part of Parkinson's, but they are not enough, there are signs which should be looked for in the physical exam like tremor, bradykinesia, rigidity, gait and facial expression changes etc, signs which are hard to assess in this virtual consult.

So if you have no improvement at all but only side effects then you should talk to your doctor about further cause. If he/she is uncertain then should be sent to a neurologist or even better a movement disorders specialist instead of continuing it in vain.

I remain at your disposal for further questions.
