Question: are the medications Rivastigmine Transdermal System and Neupro gotigotine transdermal system equal and are they both used to stimulate the brain

Those are not the same drugs. Rivastigmine contains the medication with the same name while Neupro contains another drug called Rotigotine.

I am not sure what you mean by stimulating, they act on the central nervous system but they aren't classified as stimulants. They are used only for some specific conditions. Rivastigmine is used in the treatment of dementia in particular Alzheimer's disease (not much effect in other types). Rotigotine on the other hand is used for move disorders such as Parkinson's disease or restless legs syndrome.
