Hello and welcome to HCM website.

There are certain minimum tests which should be done routinely on all adults your age, such as getting your blood pressure checked every 1-2 years, getting your cholesterol checked every 5 years, and an HIV screen.

When you have a routine complete physical exam, depending on your personal history, family history and your physical exam, other tests may be indicated, such as blood sugar level , thryoid test, etc.
