What Are The Risks Of HIV Contraction After A Non-penetrative Intercourse?

default
Posted on Mon, 15 Feb 2016
Question: I recently made a visit to an Asian massage parlor in Las Vegas. I received oral sex from the female Asian masseuse. I had asked her to use a condom, but instead she covered my penis with a big piece of plastic wrap. I believe the length or the act was about 2-3 minutes. When I ejaculated, she moved her mouth away and I noticed that nothing was coming out the top of the plastic wrap. I inspected a little and did not see a hole or anything. My question is... how safe is plastic wrap for oral sex? Should I be concerned with exposure to any STD's? Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Oral sex has low risk for HIV/STD.Plastic wrap offers additional protection

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.
Oral sex carries low risk for HIV when compared to vaginal and anal sex as per CDC, XXXXXXX This holds good with STDs also.
Use of plastic wrap still lowers the risk, almost negligible. It definitely offers an extra protection. But there are not much studies to tell how efficient they are in protecting you from STD/HIV.
If you were not able to find the ejaculate outside the plastic wrap and as there was no breakage or hole, then it is sure that you are safe.
Nothing to worry much. Having the STD /HIV test after appropriate window period and seeing the negative results will offer more satisfaction and alleviate unnecssary mental tension.
